Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey

Oh, my goodness!! I picked up this book twice to read it and had to put it down. It was so graphic and gory, in my opinion, that I wasn't sure I could get through it. If you like monsters, blood and guts, and the thrill of discovery, then you will love it. The main character, Will Henry, is an orphan taken in by Pellinore Warthrop, a monstrumologist. You can use your Latin to figure out his occupation. The creatures in this novel are Anthropophagi, and they do things to people that are far beyond your worst nightmare!!! Read this one at your own risk, ladies and gents!! I finished it, and was glad I did, but getting to the end of the novel made my stomach hurt more than once.
